Charmi Kaur is an indian actress who works mainly in Telugu films but also worked in Tamil, Malayalam, kannada and Hindi films as well. She was born and brought up in Mumbai to a Punjabi-Sikh family. She studied in Carmelite
Convent English High School in Vasai.
She made her acting debut with Need Thoud Kaavali in the year 2002 at the age on 15 only in which she potray role of a housewife. The film was a flop but she got recognition for her role.

She was noticed by the south Indian film industry with the movie Sri Anjaneyam in 2004. She has also acted in Malayalam film Kattuchembakam. In 2006 she acted in Pournami which was a total failure. But her Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi dance in the film were appreciated by audiences. Later she was seen oppsite Jr NTR in blockbuster hit film Rakhi.
In the year 2011 she got the chance to work with legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan in the movie Bbuddah..Hoga Terra Baap. This was also her debut movie in the Bollywood.
