The festivities opened with an auspicious Haldi ceremony hosted within the privacy of the resort’s Royal Villa, where sun-drenched spaces were enveloped in abundant bougainvillea blooms cascading in blush-pink hues. Multi-hued layers of pink florals framed the setting with a gentle, romantic warmth, transforming the Royal Villa into a serene sanctuary that felt both regal and deeply personal. The décor was thoughtfully designed to mirror the property’s natural pink florals, blending seamlessly with its architecture rather than overpowering it. Designed as a moment of quiet celebration, the setting enveloped the couple in warmth, colour, and familial intimacy. Surrounded by only their closest family, traditional rituals unfolded at an unhurried pace, allowing emotion and culture to take precedence over scale. The air was alive with upbeat percussion by DJ Hriday and a graceful floral shower for the couple marked a joyful crescendo, offering a stunning visual and emotional beginning to the celebrations.

The Wedding ceremony unfolded with the Sehrabandi at the North Pool, before a picturesque Baraat traced a breath-taking route along the picturesque beachfront to the Nesma Courtyard – an exuberant procession led by Dhols, a DJ truck, a mobile bar, bursts of CO₂, and the Groom arriving in a regal horse-drawn chariot, surrounded by guests adorned in ivory-and-gold safas. As the skies turned dramatic and a rare sandstorm swept through the landscape, Percept Weddings pivoted with quiet mastery, and what could have unsettled the moment instead became poetic. The winds raged, the horizon blurred, yet love remained unwavering; the bride and groom’s hearts stayed certain, and the desert itself seemed to bow. Against this elemental backdrop, the Bridal entry emerged as a vision, with Raina walking a floating aisle set upon water. The hotel’s illuminated façade rose behind her like a grand backdrop, while fireworks punctuated the sky, amplifying the sense of occasion. Beneath a lush floral chadar held by her brothers, she advanced through a setting where water, shimmering lights, blooms and reflections converged, culminating in her final walk towards the mandap through a glowing sea of 1,000 candles escorted by her father. Sacred vows were exchanged to the strains of a live harpist, followed by a radiant Jaimala and a grand finale of pyrotechnics that lit the evening skyline. Seamlessly blending resilience, ritual, and romance, the ceremony stood as a powerful testament to timeless Indian heritage, beautifully elevated through design, scale, and Percept Weddings’ unparalleled ability to transform even the unexpected into moments of enduring magic.
