Archana Vijaya started her career after she won the 1st Supermodel/Reality TV show Get Gorgeous season 1‐in India by Channel [V].

After her modeling career kick started with prestigious modeling assignments such as walking the ramp at Rome Fashion Week‐and subsequently at Milan, Singapore, and France, apart from working with all the leading designers in our country, she also got signed up by Channel [V] to be a Veejay in 2005, and host Get Gorgeous season 2, the very same contest she had won in the first season.

Since then she has simultaneously modeled in Fashion with all the leading designers – Tarun Tahiliani, Rohit Bal, Narendra Kumar, Sabyasachi, Manish Mahlotra to name a few. Commercially for various brands such as Toyota Corolla, Frooti, l’OREAL Paris, Samsung Mobile, Nike to list a few.

She is one of the most sought after television hosts in the country, and has done shows of various genres such as Travel, (Freedom Express 1 and 2), Bollywood (BOLLY [V]), Music (Junglee Jukebox) Glamour/Gossip(EBUZZ for AXN ASIA), Reality (Get Gorgeous season 2 and Sunsilk

Along with hosting entertainment shows, Archana has made her foray into sport entertainment, and has been the face of Neo Cricket for the last 3 years. One of the first to start the trend of Cricketainment with shows such as Tour Diary,Cricket Tadka Maarke etc, which have made her one of the most popular faces in Cricket Broadcasting.

In 2011, Archana will be presenting the Indian Premier League, the biggest sporting extravaganza on Indian television, for Set Max, the host Broadcasters of the IPL. She will be bringing live action to the viewers from the venues and will be seen in the studio.
