Poonam kaun was born on 21 October 1983 in Hyderabad, India. She is an model and actress who mainly works in Telugu and Tamil films. She is graduated from National Institute of Fashion Technology in Delhi. She made her debut with Telugu film Mayajalam in the year 2006. She was nominated for her performance as Best Supporting Actress Award in the year 2008 for movie SOURYAM alongside with Gopichand and Anushka Shetty.
