In addition to its gripping storyline, narrative, and dramatization, a fresh face on the block is seen in the motion poster, teaser and trailer of the upcoming ALTBalaji and ZEE5 show Bebaakee and has got the viewer’s talking and intrigued.
It’s time for Shivjyoti Rajput to make a name for herself in the digital space as the skilled and beautiful actress will be seen essaying the character of Kainaat, starring opposite Kushal Tandon (Sufiyaan) and Karan Jotwani (Imtiyaz).
Shivjyoti is no stranger to the glitz and glamour industry as she has featured alongside a host of A-listers from Bollywood like Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh and Sushant Singh Rajput in TV commercials for a number of leading brands.
She is all set to get her OTT career off the mark and we can wait to see what Shivjyoti has in store for us.
The Role of Kainat
The show will see Shivjyoti play the role of Kainat, a happy-go-lucky home-grown girl, hailing from a humbling middle class Muslim family, with full of dreams and aspirations in her eyes.
Her steadfast outlook & undying passion towards career, makes her prioritize her ambitions and goals over her personal & social life.
It was all good in the hood, until the advent of Sufiyaan into her life that leads to a chain of unforeseen events making her take a plunge into life-altering decisions that changes everything around her.
While that’s about her reel life persona, there’s more to Shivjyoti than meets the eye in real life.
A typical Delhite, Shivjyoti is a professional fashion model & actor who has worked with many big brands like Maybelline New York alongside Victoria’s Secret Angel Josephine Skriver, Biba, Head and Shoulders, Google Pixel, Samsung Gear watch, Samsung refrigerator, Harpic among many.
We have seen her sharing screen with Bollywood actors such as Akshay Kumar for Dollar vests, Ali Ali Abbas Zafar & Ranveer Singh for Ching’s, Set Wet Deo & Nerolac with Ranveer Singh, Perk with Sushant Singh Rajput to name a few.
This multi-talented actress is currently working with a digital company as a creative strategist alongside pursuing MBA in Digital Marketing.
Such is her inclination towards academics and skill building, that one often sees her immersed in her books on the set during a break.
Speaking about making her debut with Bebaakee, a very excited Shivjyoti says,
“I am thrilled to make my debut with this amazing show, produced by ALTBalaji. So far, audiences have only seen me in commercials. Now, I am all set to foray into the digital space and showcase my acting skills. I had an absolute blast working with my co-stars who made me feel at home on set. I can’t contain my excitement and am waiting to see the response from viewers and critics alike. I’m hoping that the audiences will love Kainaat with all their heart and make this show a resounding success.”
The story of Bebaakee is based on the lives of Kainaat Sahni and Sufiyaan Abdullah, two contrasting characters with strong personalities.
Kainaat is a simple and chirpy girl who is a dream catcher while Sufiyaan hails from a rich family. Their love for journalism sees their paths collide, leading to the pair feeling a high sense of chemistry.
The puzzle arises when the duo simply can’t seem to figure out if this vibe between them is going to be followed by love or hate.
What follows next is an unforeseen chain of events that begins to shake Sufiyaan’s close-knit family and their business drastically.
The wait to see Kainaat on screen is just a few days more as Bebaakee streams from 30th August on ALTBalaji and ZEE5!
