Taapsee Pannu (born 1 August 1987) is an Indian model-turned-film actress, who has worked in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi film industries. She also worked as Software professional before entering into acting professional. Taapsee has done various commercials and won titles such as “Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face” and “Safi Femina Miss Beautiful Skin” in 2008.

Pannu made her acting debut with Telugu film Jhummandi Naadam in the year 2010. After that, she appeared in many movies like Aadukalam, Bastadu Naa Raju, Vandhaan Vendraan, etc. Aadukalam received huge critical acclaim and won 6 National film awards.

She made her Bollywood debut with a comedy movie of director David Dhawan’s Chashme Baddoor in the year 2013 with Siddharth, Ali Zafar. Her upcoming Hindi movie is Baby with Akshaya Kumar.
