Singer Vee Kapoor releases a soulful rendition of Dil Mein Ho Tum on his YouTube channel

International singer and musician Vee Kapoor, who recently released his single ‘Saavaro’ on Times Music, has come up with a beautifully rearranged version of the Bappi Lahiri hit ‘Dil Mein Ho Tum’. The song was originally a part of the 1987 Vinod Khanna starrer ‘Satyamev Jayate’ and was recently recreated by Amaal Mallik and sung by Armaan Malik in the film ‘Why Cheat India?’. While Kapoor has retained the soul of the original, he has sung it in a distinctive style which makes it sound just like a fresh song.

Talking about his cover version, he says, “I have always been a fan of retro Hindi film music and ‘Dil Mein Ho Tum’ happens to be one of my favourite Hindi film songs. The original is a classic and I liked the one sung by Armaan Malik too. Every musician brings a different flavour to a song and I have tried to sing the song in a slightly different style. I hope everybody likes it. I want to prove myself to be a versatile artist. While Saavaro was a devotional number, this one is the cover version of a romantic film song.”

After the super-success of Saavaro, the singer-musician is planning to roll out some new singles soon. He will also release some new cover versions on his YouTube channel very soon.
