Percept ICE Brings Quantum Couture to Life at the GJEPC Artisan Awards 2026

Curated by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), the Artisan Awards stands among the most prestigious global platforms celebrating innovation, craftsmanship, and creative excellence in fine jewellery design. Beyond its glamour and grandeur, the Artisan Awards continues to serve as a powerful industry catalyst. Quantum Couture – Re-Engineering Beauty and Cultural Codes

The 2026 edition, themed “Quantum Couture – Re-Engineering Beauty and Cultural Codes,” and curated by futurist Paola De Luca, explored the intersection of heritage, technology, and future-forward design through three distinct sub-themes – Embroidery, Micro-Painting, and Poetic Layers, each pushing the boundaries of how jewellery is imagined, experienced, and expressed. The theme focuses on merging traditional Indian craftsmanship with future-forward technology, AI, and sustainable materials.

Percept ICE led the end-to-end conceptualization, production, and execution, transforming the venue into an elegant, avant-garde design universe. The three sub-themes were seamlessly translated into a cohesive, immersive narrative that unfolded across the evening, where the nuanced intricacy of Embroidery was reflected through fabrics inset in ornate heritage frames, textured visual elements and fluid spatial design, Micro-Painting came alive through precision-driven detailing and intimate storytelling moments, and Poetic Layers were expressed via multi-dimensional staging, layered scenography, and a sophisticated interplay of light, depth, and structure. Together, these elements created a refined, sensorial experience that elevated each creation from craft to couture, delivering a meticulously curated, world-class showcase where heritage and innovation converged effortlessly.

Every element across the venue, from spatial design and stage aesthetics to lighting, content flow, and show direction, was meticulously crafted by Percept ICE to echo the “Quantum Couture” philosophy. The seamless, high-impact showcase elevated the awards into a truly global, design-forward experience, visually striking, emotionally resonant, and flawlessly orchestrated.

The event was graced by some of the most influential names in the global jewellery and luxury space, including Lucia Silvestri, Creative Director; Paola De Luca, Renowned Jewellery Forecaster; and Farah Khan Ali, Founder & Director, Fine Jewellery.
